16 Months

Sorry again for the long silence. It has been a long winter and we are just starting to thaw now. I have been so down with the weather, I have not been motivated to post new pictures. Anyway, enough about me. Naima is doing great, learning new words everyday and most of them in Shona( native language of Zimbabwe)and some in Polish. So we are really proud of her. She also really loves going to the swing and will ask to go to the swing from the moment she wakes up. Since being here she has been introduced to snow, deer and indoor playgrounds and swimming pools. When we take walks behind our home, we go looking for deer and usually spot them on most days. We also got to enjoy a few days in Miami, FL when the winter became too much to bear. Enjoy a few of our favorites from the past month.

Sharing a kiss with Grandpa

"Mama, what am I supposed to do with this White stuff?"

"Those are some big bones Grandpa!!"

Her favorite hang out with her grandpa, stairs putting on shoes

Fun time at an indoor play ground

Enjoying some sun after fleeing the snow

Doesn't Grandma look like a model?

Sand time with Mama

We were hit with another snow storm after we came back, but she didn't mind
